It was a great feeling Sunday. I am not certain what I said but I want it known that the ceremony is of great importance to me and I thank you and the members of you wonderful congregation for allowing me to do this at your church.

This is such a great idea! I find that I wander when I pray as well and this would be a great help to keep me "on track".

I have recently started a prayer journal. There are many things that I am praying about daily but specifically things relating to my kids. They are going to be transferring from public school to PCA this year. I have found it very helpful as this has been a very BIG decision for us. God has already answered so many prayers relating to this and I'm anxious to see how he continues to show us that this is the right decision! At first it was hard to find time to journal but now I find that I look forward to it and put other things off so that I can journal my prayers!

Well I guess what they say is true - you don't appreciate things until they are gone. This is no exception. While I don't think I ever commented on any of your postings, I read most of them. Your blog was on my favorites tab and every couple of days I would click on it to see what was happening in your life - see what words of wisdom you had for us. I appreciated your blog - I suppose I should have told you that before.

I hope you will do something similar with Facebook - keep us updated on your readings and your insights thereof. Thanks for the many hours that you invest in our lives and the furtherance of God's kindom.

Ok.. so picture this...
It's early afternoon, I'm sitting at my desk.. headache from the stress.. my shoulders tight from typing most of the morning.
I decide to take a moment for myself, to "gain some perspective". I click on "My Favorites" and see it.. There.. Pastor Dave's Blog.. click..
I smile... ahhhhh!! I feel grounded. Like I have some direction in all of this. I read the most recent posting. It helps me to relax... To remember that even Pastor Dave has struggles.. for we all are just "people" trying to make our way in this life until we get to Him.
Thank you Pastor Dave...
For providing me that little "moment" when I needed it most...

Pastor Dave,
I have really enjoyed your blog! I have tried to check in at least once a week or every couple of weeks since you started it. We miss you guys so much and your blog has helped us in so many ways! The pictures and all of your comments have been GREAT! We've felt like we've been able to keep up with what's going on in your lives even though you're in Idaho and we're in Virginia. I will absolutely miss it! I'm still listening to your sermons online every chance I get!! We love and miss you guys. (Pam and Bruce)

Pator Dave,

I hate to see that you are shutting down your blog. Though I don't respond to your comments very often, I do take time, at least a couple of times a week, to see what you have written.

The information that you provide is always beneficial to my personal life. There have been many times when I have faced circumstances in my own life, that your comments have often helped me solve similar issues I sometimes face.

I''ll close by saying thanks. Thanks for all of you encouraging words, and for the time that you have invested in your blog. You have been a true blessing, and I'll miss you're writings.

I wish God's richest blessing on you and your family.

Your brother in Christ,

Mike
