Men of Integrity

We started our men’s group tonight. The first Men of Integrity meeting was held at Living Water Book and Coffee. 16 guys showed up! With the others who have committed we decided to break up into two groups starting next week. How exciting.

Tonight, we introduced ourselves and began a small group journey together. 2 Timothy 2:2 is the key. Paul wrote, “the things you have heard from many among many witnesses, commit to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.”

With these men hungering for God and community, we’ve got a bright future!

Mike, Brian, Johnnie, Dave…if you read this, I told them about you guys. Thanks for assuming leadership. Press on!

  1. Johnnie’s wife read this and I want to first thank you for the time you invested with my husband. I know how much you, Mike, Brian, and Dave have meant to him. My prayer is that your group in Idaho will be just as productive as the one you left here! The Brake family loves and misses you all very much!

  2. Thank you Dave!

Thank you for teaching me how to assume my roll of leadership.
Who new God would use you to change my life in ways I could never imagine. You are a great man of God and a leader of the highest quality.
It’s great to know that you new guys there are going to be learning and experiencing some of the leadership qualitys and skills that Pastor Dave has to offer. He is a true Man of Integrity.
Make sure you read. This is vital to becoming a leader. Pray for how God wants to use you. God will speak to you in time. He will make clear to you what your rolls as a leaders are. Be willing and obedient when he speaks.
Be prepared to get out of your comfort zone. Being a leader will cause you to do things that you are not used to doing.
Don’t give up when things start getting tuff, and they will.
When you loose your cool at your wife and she says ” I bet those other guys in you group don’t act like this”, don’t fret. She’ll get it in time.
Give it your all guys! You are very privileged men. Great things are about to happen to YOU!

    God Bless You All,
    Mike

  3. You guys better be ready for a life changing experience, b/c the LORD is going to work through Dave and change you into the men that God wants you to be. The only thing is is that you have to be commited to the group, commited to giving up a couple hours of your time a week for the group, commited to reading God’s word, and most importantly commited and willing to do what God has in store for your life through your involvement with this group. Going on 2 years ago, I would have never believed that I would be willing to do what God has planned for my life when the time comes. Through Dave’s leadership and commitment and taking the time out of his ever so busy life to change the lives of our men’s group and our families will forever be remembered and used for God’s glory. Thanks again Dave for seeing the potential in me and asking me into your group… I LOVE YOU MAN!! Forever your friend David
